Pentagon developing high-tech shapeshifters

Shape shifting has been a myth until now but with science expanding beyond limits, we sure can close in on replicating the mythological themes. Developing androids that could alter their shape to perform a function and then disassemble themselves is what DARPA is working on. The inspiration comes from the Rubik’s Cube, but just the inspiration is not enough, as the agency still has to go a long way to conquer the dream. These innovations could come in handy to morph a plane or even a vehicle to complete a mission and then collapse. Make no mistake here that these innovations wouldn’t just present a virtual image; indeed, these would be real shapeshifters that could be felt physically.
